What is concrete?

We see that marble is the one with the greatest thermal conductivity and is the most suitable to be laid with underfloor heating, followed by mortar or concrete floors. Carpet would be the least suitable for this type of heating due to its low thermal conductivity.
Types of decorative concrete

Different existing finishes of concrete floors
Generally, when the floor is already dry, it is polished or sanded and in this way the granules are Germanized and gives the floor a crystallized appearance. But you can also choose other finishes: non-slip, stain-resistant, waterproof, matte, satin, foamed, glossy, etc.
These techniques are used for finishes:
- Painted concrete: covered with a special paint after drying.
- Waxed concrete: smoothing of a colored mineral mortar. After drying, the surface is waxed with resin, which polishes and waterproofs the floor.
- Pressed concrete: the smoother the floor, the more polished it will be. It can be done manually or with a machine called a helicopter.
How to keep the concrete floor looking like new for a long time?
They are very easy to maintain and only need soap and water for cleaning. To remove ink, oil or rust stains use a brush with water and baking soda; or put on some talcum powder and wait for it to absorb the fat. Never use ammonia or soda. It is also advisable to waterproof and wax the floor regularly if it has not been treated against porosity
